Now the class of 2010 is counting down the time till they are the ones who graduate. We just can't wait. It's a big deal and a very exciting time for teens. We all think we wont miss high school but the truth is we don't know how much we'll miss it and want to come back, no matter what we say befor we graduate.

So this is my last blog for the class. This was a pretty cool idea for a class project. I never would have tried blogging otherwise. I think it's a pretty good idea to show your opinion to others and get feedback. But it is kind of hard to think what i want to wright about. I'm not good at just picking something then writing about it online for other people to see. But i tried it for this project, and it wasn't bad.
Well anyways our school year is almost over we have about three days left!! I can't wait to get out and be a senior. Finally it's here. But it has gone by so fast it seems like it is only freshman year.
I'm going to be so sad when the seniors now leave but i bet they will do great in their future. Next year will be my turn, and i can't wait.

Teens these days seem to have to fit a specific image to fit in with the "cool" kids. I dont see why kids can't just except each other the way they are and just look at their personality. That's what really counts. It matters how you act and treat others around you not your size or hair color or anything else like that. I think all kids should be able to be them selves and feel excepted for who they are.

I mean when we get older and start working when we get out of high school people don't look at what you look like as much as how well you do your job, so why should it matter at school?

Who is to say what beautiful is anyway? Everyone is beautiful to someone and in their own way, and we shouldn't want to change that person. There are so many beautiful girls but their personalitys are just horrible, why would you want that? We don't need more rude people like that. We need more people to just except people for themselves. I think it's a good lesson for all people to have, and i hope someday most everyone will learn this lesson.

Today i went out and bought myself a 1992 Toyota its pretty sweet. Its my first car, but i bought it for only $900. Yes thats a good price but it needs new brakes, and a new battery. I dont know if thats it but i hope so. I cant wait to get my new car fixed and inspected and all ready to go. I have been saveing up for this for about a year now with my job. But saveing the money with a couple hours a week is wicked hard but worth the effort. Im just so excited now about my car. I just hope i can keep my job and maybe get more hours so i can afford to keep it in good condition.

Sometimes i wish i could take a class in Auto Mechanics so when i go to look at cars i could tell whats wrong with out haveing to pay someone. Also if i ever broke down i could fix it or know whats wrong with the car. It could also make me some extra cash, i could fix up cars and sell them.

I think that would be a great and useful thing to know in life. But now the only thing i have to worry bout is were im going to go take my first trip with my new car. I havent decided yet. Maybe ill get some of my friends and we can get out and do something fun.

Well anyways i get my car at the end of this month and im excited and cant wait.

Economy and Jobs

Teens always want to get cars as soon as they get their license. But today thats getting harder with the economy. We cant afford to buy new cars or even used cars. Even our parents can't afford to help us. So the kids try to go out and get a job to save for the car but we have to compete with the adults looking for jobs also. The economy has just not been doing well lately with all the gas prices and all the people getting laid off. So now there are tons of people out looking for some kind of job.

It's getting harder and harder for teens to find part time jobs because we have adults compiting with adults who can do full time jobs, while we can only have part time jobs. So its getting harder and harder for everyone to afford things that they want and even the things they need.

well i know its hard for all us teens out there trying to get our fist real job, and ou first car but we can do it in time. Soon the economy will get better and there will be more jobs comming up hopefully and we will be set with work.

SAT

SAT's were on saturday, man did they suck i had to get up early and be at the school by 7:30. Then we tested all morning into the afternoon. We didnt end up getting out until 1:30. I never knew there were tests that long. I guess we have to take them to get into a good college, but why make them so long?
Then there are different types of tests that colleges look at like ACTs. I thought they were all the same kind of thing but i guess not. But any way i had to get up and test on a beautiful saturday but at least i had a bunch of friends there testing to. So we got to hang out after the test and relax now that we were done the test. We all have to wait to finally see our results, so we needed something to do to relax for a little bit. So we all decided to go get some ice cream and just talk before we all had to leave and some of us had to go to work. But we are done with the SATs for now until we decide to take them again to better our scores. Then we will have to go threw this long test on another saturday.
